Karen is a leader in the field of global affluent investing. She is a trusted member of the financial community and an esteemed advisor to prominent clients worldwide, including C-suite executives and their families.
Beginning her career at Bear Stearns, Karen became the first and only female arbitrage trader in the history of the firm. Trained personally under the tutelage of Alan (Ace) Greenberg, Karen developed the skills and processes needed to navigate the complexities of multi-generational wealth in serving high net worth families.
Prior to joining NewEdge Wealth, Karen served as the President and CEO of two wealth management firms. Most recently, she served as Managing Director of Unio Capital. Her role included all aspects of global marketing, branding and building the assets under management for the firm.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ithaca College in Music. Her finance credentials include multiple licenses including a General Securities Principal, Licensed Equity Trader, and Investment Banking and Investment Advisor Representative.
Along with prominent affiliations such as the Rockefeller University Council, the Financial Women’s Association, and the Ithaca College Investment Advisory Board, Karen is deeply involved with the mentoring of young women and has done so throughout her career. Her focus on underprivileged students in New York City was acknowledged and awarded by the New York City Mentoring Program. She is also a trained pianist, an avid golfer, and speaks multiple languages.
