Job Summary:

The Advisor Marketing Specialist will be responsible for working with our in-house marketing and design team to develop and manage distinct brands, content, and collateral to support independent advisor teams. Additionally, this role will serve as a liaison between advisor teams and the in-house marketing and design team to address a variety of marketing needs.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Advisor Marketing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from start to finish, as well as ensuring that all deadlines are met.

This position will report to the Director of Marketing and partner closely with the broader marketing and design team to leverage expertise and resources in brand development, print, digital, content, design, events, and social marketing. The Advisor Marketing Specialist will be responsible for guiding marketing collateral through the review and approval process.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Project Manage: Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within the scope.
Marketing Liaison: Establish oneself as the day-to-day marketing point of contact for advisor teams across NewEdge Advisors.
Marketing Communications: Produce print, web, social, and digital branding, and informational collateral aligned with branding guidelines.
Events: Assist with the coordination and preparation of events, including national conferences, tradeshows, client events, and webinars. Attend events as needed.

 

Skills & Experience:

3+ years minimum prior relevant marketing agency experience. Experience within financial services, investments, advisory, or wealth management fields is preferred.
Must demonstrate superior written, interpersonal, and project management.
Strong project management background with proven success in meeting tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred).
A passion for customers, marketing, communications, and social media.
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision, and quickly comprehend, strategize, and effectively execute on changing priorities as necessary.
Exceptional attention to detail. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills. This includes being polished, courteous, professional, and patient.
Ability to excel both independently and as a collaborative member of the Marketing team.
Willingness to travel on a limited basis to industry conferences and corporate events.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, WordPress (or other CMS platforms), and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
