Michael Weinberg

Managing Director

Mike has been at NewEdge Wealth since 2022, where he spends much of his time preparing and executing tailored financial plans for his clients. What sets Mike apart is his ability to listen — he believes the only way to truly help clients reach their goals is by first understanding what they’re trying to accomplish. He focuses on his clients’ liquidity, longevity, and legacy needs, helping them meet their immediate and long-term investment goals, philanthropic objectives, and lifestyle needs.

Mike works with affluent individuals and families, small business owners, women in wealth, high-net-worth professionals, corporate executives, and professional athletes, bringing a comprehensive approach to financial planning, asset management, manager selection, and strategies related to estate planning and philanthropy.

With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Mike started his career at Lehman Brothers, followed by a decade at Merrill Lynch. Most recently, he spent 13 years as a Senior Vice President at UBS. Mike was recognized as a Forbes “Best-In-State Wealth Advisor” in 2021, 2020, and 2019.

Mike was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Florida at a young age. A long-term resident of Bay Harbor Islands, FL, he is a trusted and active member of his community, serving as Vice President on the Board of Trustees at Temple Beth Sholom and as a founder of the Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with his wife and three children.
