Sara DeJay Willis

Vice President

Sara helps successful business owners, founders, corporate executives, and their families navigate the ever-growing complexity that comes with outsized success and significant wealth.

She is more than a wealth advisor — she is a trusted partner and friend, guiding clients through the decisions that matter most: life-changing transitions, family dynamics, and tax, estate, and succession planning. Sara believes lasting wealth is about more than transferring assets; it’s about preparing families to steward their resources with purpose and confidence, for generations to come.

She joins NewEdge as a seasoned wealth advisor from Bernstein. Before wealth management, Sara spent years in high-stakes rooms as a trusted advisor to elected state officials and C-suite executive teams — experience that continues to shape how she counsels business leaders and founders today. She graduated summa cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin, where she went on to become the youngest appointee to Governor Rick Perry’s staff.

Sara remains deeply engaged in her community, serving on several nonprofit boards including Girl Scouts of San Jacinto. She is also passionate about helping executives and founders secure corporate board seats, and serves as Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the 50/50 Women on Boards movement in Houston.

Sara lives in Houston, TX, with her husband, Jack; their three bernedoodles, Braunwyn, Beauregard, and Beatrice; and their ragdoll cat, Fitzwilliam.
